Accounts Payable​/Accounts Receivable Specialist

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing construction company in Miami, FL. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment, managing financial processes while collaborating with project managers, vendors, and internal teams. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate billing, timely payments, and smooth financial operations across multiple construction projects.

$60,000 - $65,000 per year
Onsite - Miami, FL

• Process vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, and purchase orders
• Prepare and submit customer invoices and progress billings
• Track receivables and follow up on outstanding payments
• Apply payments and reconcile accounts
• Manage lien waivers, W-9s, and subcontractor documentation
• Support job costing, budgeting, and financial tracking
• Maintain records in Quick Books and support Procore workflows
• Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and internal teams

• 2+ years of AP/AR experience
• Experience in construction, general contracting, or building industry
• Strong understanding of job costing and construction billing
• Experience with Quick Books and Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
