Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to a highly skilled accounting professional to take ownership of the financial reporting requirements of the company.

• Manage the Checkbook Register including accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare all data to send over to outside CPA for Month End.
• Perform daily reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other balance sheet accounts regularly to maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare check run for AP for CEO to sign.
• Prepare Payroll for review.
• Prepare checklist for month end to send to outside CPA.
• Utilize accounting software such as Quick Books Online (QBO) for AP/AR only.
• Perform detailed account reconciliation tasks in checkbook register to identify discrepancies or errors promptly.
• Other admin duties as assigned.

• Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist in AP/AR dept, or in bookkeeping role.
• Ability to learn and understand ERP and QBO systems.
• Strong understanding AP/AR and Banking Reconciliations.
• Demonstrated ability in bank reconciliation, account reconciliation management.
