Lennar Internal Auditor
As one of the Lennar Internal Auditors, you will play an essential role in ensuring Lennar's core principles of quality, value, and integrity continue to be evident in all areas of the business. You will join a team where your ideas will be valued and where you will be given opportunities to grow and learn, alongside a team of passionate auditors like you.
You will be entrusted with projects where you will be coached and provided with resources and technology to accomplish shared objectives. In this role, you will have opportunities to exercise innovation, attention to detail, critical thinking, and inquisitiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial and operational audits according to the Internal Audit plan.
- Analyze operational and management processes, and control effectiveness and efficiency by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation; present conclusions to senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Present the results of work to management, along with recommendations and conclusions from internal audit reviews in a clear and concise manner.
- Organize documentation in work papers to facilitate review.
- Perform other ad hoc/special projects as needed by the department or requested by the organization to enhance knowledge of the business and industry.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and technical accounting research skills.
- Experience:
Minimum of 0–2 years of audit experience. - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher in all degrees.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) preferred.
- Experience with data analytics preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
