Construction Controller or Up and Coming Accounting Manager:
Miami
Ascendo Resources is assisting our client in their search for an Accounting Manager.
Must have Construction industry or subcontractor accounting experience

$120K - $135 + annual bonus
Technical Skill Set Required- Large Construction company Accounting experience: $300m+
- Construction industry Accounting & Finance experience (current)
- Monthly General Ledger, Multiple Entity Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations, AP/AR
- Month End Close, quarter end close, year-end close
- Analyze Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules, job cost reporting, and project profitability analysis.
- AIA billing
- Experience with system migrations (preferred)
- Balance sheet review
- Treasury functions
- Improve policies & procedures, internal controls
- GAAP Experience
- Advanced Excel User
- Ad-Hoc Reports
- Reports to Executive Management
- Minimum of 5 years Accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree, with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance. Strong Academic background from a reputable university
- Current Construction industry Accounting experience / Not Development
- CPA preferred
- Good employment stability (no job hoppers)
- Advanced Excel
