About Us
Nova Medical Services is a growing healthcare organization with multiple specialties, including Wound Care, Cardiology, and Internal Medicine. We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team and help with day-to-day financial operations.
Who We're Looking ForWe want someone with some experience in accounts payable or general accounting (not necessarily senior-level), who is organized, detail-oriented, and ready to learn. Experience with Quick Books is required, and familiarity with automation tools like , Ramp, or Divvy is a plus.
Key Responsibilities- Process and review vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Enter and code invoices in Quick Books
- Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card transactions
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Keep accurate records of all payments
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments about invoices or payments
- Help improve processes and use Quick Books automation features
- 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience (healthcare experience is a plus)
- Proficient in Quick Books
- Comfortable with basic process automation
