The Position:
Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager, reporting directly to the Chief Accounting Officer, will own all accounting operations for the Fourt Lauderdale-based branch. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and consistent accounting practices while integrating into a multi-entity corporate structure.

This role is highly hands‑on and central to building a scalable accounting foundation for a fast-growing, acquisition-driven platform. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting capability, experience with project-based revenue recognition including percent completion accounting, and comfort working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

• Own all day-to-day accounting operations for the business unit, including general ledger, month end close, and financial reporting
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards
• Manage month end and year end close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries
• Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls to support scalability and audit readiness
• Oversee revenue recognition including percent completion accounting for project-based and service contracts
• Partner with operations teams to ensure accurate job costing, revenue tracking, and margin analysis
• Support integration of acquired businesses into corporate accounting structure and systems
• Assist in the implementation and optimization of Net Suite, which is strongly preferred for this role
• Support audits, tax preparation, and compliance requirements as needed
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting workflows, systems, and reporting capabilities
• Provide clear financial insight and support to local leadership and corporate stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5 to 8 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity or service-based environment
• Strong understanding of percent completion accounting and revenue recognition principles
• Net Suite experience strongly preferred
• Solid technical accounting knowledge and strong attention to detail
• Experience managing month end close processes and financial reporting cycles
• Comfortable working in a fast-growing, acquisition-driven environment
• Strong communication skills with ability to partner across operations and finance
• High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
• Ability to build structure and process in a rapidly evolving organization
