Cost Accountant

Join a growing aviation services organization and take ownership of cost visibility and profitability analysis across our repair operations. We're looking for a highly analytical Cost Accountant to help drive smarter decisions through accurate job costing, inventory valuation, margin analysis, and operational insights that support pricing and business strategy.

• Maintain standard costs and analyze material, labor, and overhead variances
• Support inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS) accounting
• Perform margin and profitability analysis by product line, service, customer, or entity
• Investigate and explain cost variances and operational trends to management
• Partner closely with operations teams to improve cost accuracy and identify savings opportunities
• Support month-end close activities related to inventory and cost accounting
• Assist with process improvements and reporting enhancements across the finance function

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in cost accounting or manufacturing/operations accounting
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methodologies
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP cost modules
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• English required;
  Spanish is a plus
• Aviation, MRO, manufacturing, or industrial experience strongly preferred
