Role Description The Bookkeeper at Choucoune LLC will manage day-to-day financial recordkeeping, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing basic financial reports. This full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL involves processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and credit card statements, and ensuring accurate documentation for all financial activities. The Bookkeeper will work closely with management to support budgeting, track expenses, and provide timely financial information for decision-making.

Additional responsibilities may include assisting with inventory-related financial data, coordinating with external accountants, and supporting compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong bookkeeping and journal entries (accounting) skills, with the ability to maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Proficiency with accounting software and basic finance concepts, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a high level of integrity in handling financial data.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in a small, fast-paced team environment.
• Basic understanding of inventory-related accounting and cost tracking is beneficial.
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience in a consumer goods or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
