Client Overview
Our client, a growing real estate company, is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join their Accounting team.
Salary/Hourly Rate$60k - $70k
Position OverviewThis is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career accounting professional looking to build a long-term career in accounting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, hardworking, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities Of The Junior Accountant- Perform daily bank reconciliations and assist with account reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable, including invoice entry and payment support.
- Assist with general accounting functions, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
- Retrieve, sort, and distribute incoming mail and accounting-related correspondence.
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative accounting duties.
- Support the accounting team with special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
- Communicate professionally with vendors and internal team members to resolve accounting-related inquiries.
- Internship or prior accounting experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a team environment.
- Internship or entry-level experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or finance.
- Interest in building a long-term career within the real estate industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
