About the Role

The COOL Company is seeking an experienced, hands-on Assistant Controller to help lead our accounting and financial reporting function as the organization continues to scale.

Reporting to the CFO, the Assistant Controller will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, support the monthly close and consolidated financial reporting process, lead and develop members of the accounting team, and help strengthen the Company's financial systems, processes, and controls.

This individual should be comfortable working across multiple entities and currencies and have the financial acumen to support financial analysis, forecasting, and key business metrics.

We are looking for a modern, technology-oriented finance professional who combines strong accounting fundamentals with a continuous-improvement mindset and an interest in using systems, automation, and AI to build a more scalable finance organization.

This is a hands-on role. The successful candidate will be comfortable moving between reviewing consolidated financial results, resolving technical accounting matters, managing the close, developing team members, improving processes, and working directly in the underlying details when necessary.
