Our client, a large privately held professional services organization, is seeking an Assistant Corporate Controller to join its corporate accounting team in Miami.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants real ownership: you'll drive the monthly close, strengthen the control environment, and partner directly with the Corporate Controller and CFO on reporting, audit, and process improvement across a multi-division organization.
What you'll own:- The monthly close process, start to finish
- Reconciliation quality and internal controls maturity
- Job costing and margin visibility across divisions
- Audit execution and best practices implementation
- CPA is required, and a Master's in accounting or related field is a plus
- 7+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, ideally with Big Four or mid- to large-market company background with operating exposure
- Comfort in a high-volume, services-based billing environment
