Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and help ensure the accuracy of financial records. This role is responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end close, and supporting financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments.
• Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Maintain and analyze financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting activities as needed.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for internal management and external auditors.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Help ensure compliance with internal controls, tax requirements, and regulatory reporting obligations.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and process issues.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function.
