Staff Accountant

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and help ensure the accuracy of financial records. Based on general knowledge. This role is responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end close, and supporting financial reporting activities. Based on general knowledge. Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments. Based on general knowledge.

+ Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and balance sheet accounts. Based on general knowledge.

+ Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Based on general knowledge.

+ Maintain and analyze financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Based on general knowledge.

+ Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting activities as needed. Based on general knowledge.

+ Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for internal management and external auditors. Based on general knowledge.

+ Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Based on general knowledge.

+ Help ensure compliance with internal controls, tax requirements, and regulatory reporting obligations. Based on general knowledge.

+ Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and process issues. Based on general knowledge.

+ Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function. Based on general knowledge.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Based on general knowledge.

+ 1+ years of accounting experience preferred. Based on general knowledge.

+ Working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting procedures. Based on general knowledge.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems. Based on general knowledge.

+ Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills. Based on general knowledge.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Based on general knowledge.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Based on general knowledge.
