Audit Senior or Audit Manager | Miami | Hybrid
$90,000 - $160,000 depending on level and experience
A well-established public accounting firm is expanding its South Florida (Brickell) audit practice and hiring at both the Senior and Manager level.
If you want the client quality and technical work of a larger firm without being one of hundreds, this is worth a look. The team is small enough that your work is visible and the partners know you by name, with the resources and client base of a national platform behind it.
Levels open- Audit Senior - $90,000 to $120,000
- Audit Manager - $125,000 to $160,000
- Financial statement audits of privately held companies, from planning through final deliverable
- Private equity backed portfolio companies, operating companies, and funds
- Business combinations and technical accounting under ASC 805, 606, and 842
- Engagement planning, budgets, and scheduling
At the Senior level you are executing and leading engagements. At the Manager level you are owning client relationships, managing budgets and schedules, reviewing the work, and coaching the team behind you.
What you need- 3+ years of audit experience in public accounting
- CPA licensed, or eligible to sit, for the Senior level
- CPA licensed for the Manager level, plus 5+ years of experience and at least 1 year of management experience
- Private equity backed or fund audit work
- Case Ware or Pro System fx Engagement
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- $90,000 to $160,000 base depending on level and experience
- Hybrid schedule, 2 to 3 days in the office, and one of those days can be at a Broward or Palm Beach location if that is an easier commute
- Strong PTO, parental leave, and paid time off for volunteering
- A growing practice, which means a real path up rather than waiting for someone to leave
If you have solid public accounting audit experience but do not check every single box, apply anyway. The industry-specific experience is preferred, not a gate.
