About this role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant
. This position is responsible for managing, analyzing, and executing accounting processes for assigned accounts while ensuring compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and established procedures. The role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of financial information and supporting efficient financial reporting and closing processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Record, review, analyze, and validate accounting transactions within the company's financial systems, ensuring proper account classification and compliance with accounting policies.
  • Prepare and analyze bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and income statement accounts, investigating discrepancies and posting corrective entries when necessary.
  • Develop, standardize, and optimize accounting processes through automation initiatives, data management improvements, and financial reporting enhancements to drive operational efficiency.
  • Prepare accounting and financial reports by collecting, validating, and analyzing information from multiple data sources.
  • Maintain and verify supporting documentation for accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory, audit, and document retention requirements.
  • Perform account analysis to identify unusual transactions, required adjustments, and reclassifications.
  • Prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries.
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
  • Consolidate financial information from multiple systems and support the preparation of financial, operational, and regulatory reports.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to support compliance, reporting, and audit requests.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Experience in general accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Understanding of financial and tax regulations.
