Jr. Accountant

VUMI Group is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in accounting functions, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment.

• Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
• Assist with billing processes and account reconciliations
• Support weekly claims and commission activities
• Assist with payroll-related processes
• Prepare and maintain accounting records and financial reports
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist with audit preparation and supporting documentation
• Process, review, and reconcile accounting documents
• Maintain spreadsheets and accounting data
• Perform general administrative and accounting support tasks
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or finance experience
• Experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting
• Knowledge of GAAP principles
• Experience with ACH payments, wire transfers, or banking activities preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies

Important: Applicants should have prior accounting or bookkeeping experience. Recent graduates without relevant accounting experience may not meet the minimum qualifications for this role.
