What you will be doing
  • Assists with coordination and promotion of workshops, meetings, programs and conferences
  • Assists in the coordination of new faculty orientation programs
  • Provides on-going administrative support to faculty and staff that deliver workshops and programs
  • Assists with general office operations
  • Coordinates and prepares booklets and materials for classes, workshops and meetings
  • Maintains adequate inventory of promotional materials and office supplies
  • Maintains and updates promotional materials
  • Assists in the creation and maintenance of program files
  • Provides general information and answers calls regarding CIOL programs
  • Serves as a liaison between CIOL and program participants
  • Assists in continuous program evaluation
  • Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and three (3) years of related experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
  • Possess knowledge of and experience with general office practices and procedures
  • Ability to adapt to a high volume office environment
  • Capability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks to meet deadlines and to follow-through on a timely basis
  • Possess capacity to work independently or with minimal supervision and be self-motivated
  • Proficiency in interacting with people of all levels and exercising considerable poise, tact, patience, and courtesy at all times
  • Possess Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel from campus to campus
  • Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
