The Engineering Deans Office is currently seeking a Temporary Office Support to join their team of professionals.
Duties include:
- Provides clerical and administrative support to an office/department/center.
- Assists with the day-to-day operational activities of the office/department/center.
- Performs front desk duties such as answers and routes telephone calls, handles customer inquiries, and redirects, as necessary.
- Resolves routine problems using pre-existing guidelines and procedures.
- Performs general routine clerical tasks, such as preparing routine documents, basic correspondence from templates. or existing form letters.
- Schedules appointments and meetings.
- Assists with travel arrangements.
- Assists with basic event operations, as needed.
- Sorts and distributes mail.
- Maintains inventory of office supplies.
- Maintains and updates basic databases.
High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications- Ability to work in a team setting.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites.
- Ability to take direction and work independently as needed.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with highly sensitive information.
- Additional experience, education and/or related certification and licensure may also be required from each department.

Temporary DisclosureAs a temporary employee, you will not be eligible to participate in all employee benefit programs (e.g., paid leave, retirement, or tuition reimbursement).
Under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), a temporary employee who works on average 30 hours or more per week may be eligible to enroll in health care benefits. As a temporary employee, you are also eligible to enroll in supplemental plans (e.g. dental, vision,) which requires full payment on your part.

- 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
- $15.00-$22.00 per hour.
