Provides clerical and administrative support to the Psychology Department.
Responsibilities- Provides clerical and administrative support to the Psychology Department. Provides assistance in submitting HR actions for temporary personnel.
- Types letters, correspondence, minutes from meetings and a variety of other paperwork.
- Schedules appointments and maintains calendars. Handles room requests and provides support for faculty meetings.
- Receives, investigates and responds to University departmental inquiries.
- Upload reconciliation receipts.
- Orders and monitors office and lab supplies and. Serves as the University's credit card user for departmental transactions. Adheres to University's rules and regulations.
- Handles travel arrangements, including airline/hotel/car rental reservations. Prepares and processes TARs and reimbursements.
- Answers and screens phone calls. Routes calls to appropriate area and/or person or takes messages accordingly.
- Opens and sorts incoming mail. Serves as backup to the department's supporting personnel.
- Enters e-racs for faculty admin and faculty overloads. Process POI's.
- Supports the Office Manager with University deadlines for course materials such as syllabi, book orders, and grades.
High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of office or related experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Desired QualificationsKnowledge of Peoplesoft.
