Job Summary
The Department of Advancement is currently seeking a Temporary Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join their team of professionals. The Temporary Marketing & Communications Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Marketing in a fast-paced environment to assist with planning, review, and execution of direct communication strategies.
Duties Include- Oversee the scheduling of communication plans, adjusting timelines and priorities as necessary to ensure smooth execution.
- Collaborate closely with Alumni partners to ensure all deliverables are met on time.
- Actively participate in bi-weekly planning and progress meetings on objectives.
- Partner with the Account Manager and student assistants to ensure updates and changes are implemented.
- Provide support in asset creation, assisting with content development as needed.
- Develop, test, and distribute email communication to various stakeholders including Ignite campaigns, Alumni outreach, and Partner engagement.
- Review and update email distribution lists to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with writing and content creation for posts, talking points, or website copy.
- Conduct monthly reviews of email communication and performance, track key metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
- Update and maintain email performance data (Excel).
High school diploma or GED and five (5) years of office or related experience providing administrative support, or coordinating functions of an office or department.
