About The Graham Companies

The Graham Companies has been a cornerstone of the Miami Lakes community for decades, providing exceptional residential and commercial spaces with a commitment to quality, integrity, and service. We take pride in creating thriving communities where our residents feel valued and at home.

About the Role

The Leasing Floater, Leasing Specialist and Leasing Administrative Assistant are dynamic roles that combine leasing expertise, administrative support, and resident relations. These positions play a key part in ensuring smooth property operations, high resident satisfaction, and achievement of occupancy goals across our residential communities.

You’ll serve as both the welcoming face of our leasing office and the organized backbone that keeps operations running efficiently — supporting leasing, renewals, move-ins, and day-to-day property management activities.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet and assist prospective residents, conduct property tours, and guide applicants through the leasing process from first contact to move-in.
  • Manage lease renewals — track expiration dates, prepare renewal offers, and ensure timely completion.
  • Respond to resident inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a customer-first mindset.
  • Maintain accurate and complete resident files and ensure all required documentation is current.
  • Process move-ins and move-outs, including preparing packets, coordinating inspections, and uploading documentation.
  • Enter, track, and close maintenance work orders; prepare preventative maintenance notices.
  • Support daily operations such as key logs, package management, and opening/closing procedures.
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure the leasing office remains organized and welcoming.
  • Provide cross-property support as needed and collaborate with team members to meet leasing and operational goals.
  • Participate actively in company training sessions and team meetings.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in leasing, property management, customer service, or administrative support.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills — both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook); experience with Yardi or similar property management software preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • A positive, professional attitude and commitment to excellence in service.

Physical Requirements

This position primarily involves sedentary work but may include walking or standing for portions of the day and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
