DESCRIPTIONThis position will be responsible for a high volume of coordination, recruitment and selection activities for the Headquarters ESS Program Recruitment Team, including positions identified for critical class titles. This position does not report directly to the Human Resources department.
DUTIES- Monitor vacancies and manage internal movement processes.
- Create and review job postings and advertisements.
- Evaluate applications and determine eligibility.
- Send candidate pre‑screening tests and interview tools.
- Maintain internal data systems and reports (e.g., open positions, time‑to‑fill).
- Engage in staffing activities and cross‑functional projects.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Three years of professional experience in HR, administrative support, record or data management, project management, research, or training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds as needed for file management, materials transport, or related tasks.
- Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, job advertising, candidate screening, interviewing, and handling confidential information.
- Experience with People First, Smartsheet, Service Now, or an applicant tracking system.
- Curre Notary Public or willingness to become one.
- Strong relationship‑building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- People First application must be fully completed; “See Resume” is not acceptable.
- Include supervisor names and phone numbers for all employment periods.
- Account for all employment gaps.
- Information must be verifiable to meet minimum qualifications.
This is an essential position and may require work during emergencies.
