Tele Solv Consulting has multiple openings for a Mail Clerk to support a federal government agency in Miami, FL. The Mail Clerk provides day‑to‑day operational support to a Government Field Office, ensuring the accurate intake, routing, logging, and processing of sensitive and high‑volume mail. This full‑time, permanent position supports the broader mission of the Government by maintaining impeccable mail handling practices and sustaining efficient administrative workflows.
Responsibilities include sorting, routing, metering, scanning, and tracking mail while maintaining compliance with all established procedures.

Responsibilities- Route messages, documents, packages, and mail to Government entities and internal business areas.
- Sort and open incoming and outgoing mail.
- Meter outgoing mail and maintain accuracy in handling.
- Obtain receipts for delivered articles; maintain detailed logs of all items received and delivered.
- Update mail logs and Government systems with precision.
- Scan and process large multi‑page documents.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational continuity.
- Strong English reading and comprehension skills.
- Knowledge of mail handling processes and document routing procedures.
- Ability to maintain accurate logs and follow established workflows.
- Capacity to operate scanners and manage large‑volume document imaging.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance with the Government.
- Ability to lift and carry 45 lbs. or more.
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and reach in a physical work environment.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding English.
- Prior experience in clerical, filing, records management, or administrative support roles.
- Experience supporting Government operations or high‑volume documentation environments.
This position requires a background investigation. As part of this process, the government will perform a criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history background check. The government will assess financial standing, tax filing status, rehire eligibility with prior employers, and compliance with federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, as well as other checks related to character and trustworthiness.
