Position Overview

This is a position for a clerical specialist in the Facilities Management Unit. The candidate will be responsible for maneuvering heavy furniture, tracking furniture inventory, setting up conference rooms for trainings and special events, and reporting and tracking various telephone and building related issues. The work schedule for this position is 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Job Responsibilities are:
  • Moving staff office furniture with the assistance of a hand truck/dolly and assisting in the operational maintenance and inventory of furniture and equipment
  • Servicing requests for equipment under maintenance agreements and through the Building Manager’s Office
  • Setting up conference rooms for trainings and special events
  • Reporting and tracking telephone repairs and office workspace repairs
  • Assisting with maintaining Parking Spreadsheet
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
The

Minimum Requirements are:
  • High School diploma or its equivalent
  • One (1) year of clerical experience
The

Preferred Qualifications and Skills are:
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
  • Possessing stockroom and inventory skills

Starting Annual Salary: $36,665.76

Note:

Starting salary is non-negotiable.

Insurance benefits, vacation package and Florida Retirement System Pension benefits are offered with this position.
