Provides clerical support to the office and front desk of Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS)/ Victim Empowerment Program (VEP).
- Greets clients personally and by phone, takes messages, schedules appointments, and sends text and/or calls for appointment reminder as appropriate.
- Manages check in/check out of electronic devices, such as iPads, for student's completing electronic form.
- Maintains consultation records, filing room, supply room, and other record keeping including shredding expired records.
- Scans, duplicates, xeroxes, and distributes materials.
- Assists with scheduling and confirming all appointments.
- Types correspondence, distributes mail/e-mail, reports and forms from drafts, notes or oral instructions for administrators.
- Serves as a University card user for departmental transactions. Adheres to University credit card policies and procedures. May handle cash or check transactions as needed.
High school diploma or GED; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications- Clerical experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Electronic health records (EHR)/Electronic medical records (EMR) experience.
- Experience and/or knowledge of handling information of sensitive and confidential nature.

Work Schedule- Begin time: 8:30 AM
