The University of Miami/UHealth has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Administrative Operations. The Manager, Administrative Operations plays a critical role in supporting the strategic and operational goals of UHealth by providing high-level project management, operational oversight, and administrative leadership. This position works closely with the Director of UHealth Operations and executive leaders to drive complex initiatives, enhance performance, and ensure effective coordination across the health system.
** Core Job Functions/

Key Responsibilities:

* • Develops and aligns goals with UHealth’s strategic priorities; communicates and builds consensus across stakeholders.  
• Provides regular, timely updates to the Director, UHealth Operations, on key initiatives, administrative assignments, and project progress.  
• Assists in setting strategic direction for key programs and facilitates implementation of health system initiatives on behalf of executive leadership.  
• Works under consultative direction to support long-term objectives that drive financial performance and operational excellence.  
• Leads high-impact administrative and special projects, including revenue-generating initiatives, ensuring timely execution and effective coordination.  
• Oversees complex administrative operations and supports cross-functional team management across departments.  
• Serves as liaison between senior leadership and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, follow-up, and alignment.  
• Manage and maintain the senior leadership complex schedule including but not limited to calendaring large & complex meetings with external and internal stakeholders, tracking meeting requests and commitments, communicatingefficiently with meeting participants and support staff.  
• Acts as the primary point of contact for the UHealth Operations team, managing sensitive and confidential issues with discretion.  
• Participate in conferences, meetings, and other activities as required; prepare materials for meetings and take minutes as requested.  
• Creates and maintains documents, reports, and correspondence; manages scheduling, appointments, and operational communications.  
• Supports engagement initiatives and operational events across UHealth locations, ensuring efficient planning and execution.  
• Partners with facilities and procurement to address infrastructure needs, including vendor coordination and contract initiation.  
• Manages budgets for assigned teams or projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and responsible resource utilization.  
• Conducts research and benchmarks best practices in healthcare operations and patient experience to inform strategic decisions.  
• Analyzes data and develops visualizations to provide actionable insights that support UHealth’s operational and strategic goals.
** Qualifications*
* • 5+ years of progressively responsible administrative or operations experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.  
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives from concept through execution.  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated ability to build consensus and collaborate across departments but also able to work independently as needed.  
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.  
• Ability to manage change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.  
• Ability to complete multiple tasks efficiently and thrive in a teamwork environment which pursues a positive patient care experience.

• Proficiency in Workday, Microsoft Office Suite Programs, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, data analysis tools (e.g., PowerBI), and project tracking systems (e.g., Smart Sheet).
