Job Description:- Organizes and updates Emergency Room call schedules to ensure adequate coverage. Manages shift assignments, handles requests for changes, and addresses scheduling conflicts. Collaborates with various departments to implement system-wide changes impacting the Medical Staff. Communicates changes, provides training, and ensures compliance with new policies or procedures. Schedules meetings, prepares reports, and facilitates communication between departments for the Campus Chief of Staff and Chief Medical Officer.
Assists with strategic planning and decision-making processes to improve patient care and operational efficiency. Other duties as assigned.
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with diverse populations, individually or as a team member, both in verbal and written communications [Required]
- Excellent computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases, using programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc. [Required]
- Maintain confidentiality, use discretion, and adhere to all corporate, legal, and regulatory guidelines, i.e. HIPAA [Required]
- Self-motivated, with flexibility to multitask and prioritize in a stressful, fast-paced environment [Required]
- Resolve issues with minimal direction or guidance, as well as work independently and as a team member [Required]
- Professional attitude and conduct [Required]
- Effectively utilize office equipment including fax, copier, printer, scanner, etc. [Required]
- Meet ever-changing and multiple deadlines, managing day-to-day workflow [Required]

- 4+ years’ experience in a healthcare environment as an administrative or executive assistant, secretary, or other higher level administrative/office support role [Required]
- Event planning/coordination experience [Preferred]
- Experience in meeting management and minutes recording [Preferred]
- Experience with credentialing software [Preferred]
- Medical staff services office experience or other healthcare environment [Preferred]
- Bachelor's degree inin Business, Office Administration, or Health Services Administration
- OR4 years' of related experience
Certifications:
- Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) (CAP) [Preferred]
