A community-focused organization is seeking a compassionate and organized Administrative Scheduler to support older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their families.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping seniors and is comfortable handling phone calls, scheduling, data entry, and general administrative tasks.
Responsibilities- Schedule and confirm client appointments.
- Answer incoming calls professionally.
- Assist older adults and family members with questions.
- Review referrals and collect required information.
- Follow up regarding appointments, screenings, and missing documents.
- Enter client information and activity into internal databases.
- Document calls, appointments, and cancellations.
- Prepare and mail letters and forms.
- Route emails, faxes, mail, and correspondence.
- Scan, file, and maintain confidential records.
- Support staff with additional administrative needs.
- Two or more years of administrative, scheduling, customer service, or human-services experience.
- Patient and compassionate when assisting seniors.
- Comfortable helping callers who may be confused, frustrated, or hearing-impaired.
- Strong phone, communication, and listening skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and online systems.
- Ability to type at least 35 words per minute.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
