Job Summary:

The Service Porter at Bomnin Automotive plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the service department. This position involves various responsibilities, including assisting customers, maintaining the service area's cleanliness, and providing support to service advisors and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Assistance:
  • Greet and assist customers professionally and courteously.
  • Escort customers to the service waiting area and provide information about service procedures.
• Vehicle Movement:
  • Safely move vehicles within the service area and to designated parking spots.
  • Coordinate vehicle retrieval and delivery with service advisors and technicians.
• Lot Management:
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness in the service department's parking lot.
  • Monitor and manage available parking spaces for customer and team vehicles.
• Support Service Advisors:
  • Assist service advisors by checking in customer vehicles and creating repair orders.
  • Maintain organized records of vehicles checked in and out of the service department.
• Vehicle Inspection:
  • Conduct basic inspections of incoming and outgoing vehicles to ensure they meet cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Report any issues or damage to the service advisors.

Position Requirements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Willingness to take a skill evaluation assessment.

Physical Demands:

• The role may involve standing, walking, and lifting.
• Occasional bending, stooping, and kneeling may be required.
• The ability to safely drive and operate different types of vehicles.

Work Environment:

The Service Porter primarily works within the service department of Bomnin Automotive. This role involves both indoor and outdoor tasks, depending on the specific responsibilities at hand.

Other Duties:
