Job DescriptionBird Kultgen Ford is seeking Automotive Service Technicians who are Ford Certified or motivated to earn Ford certification. This role is ideal for technicians with a strong mechanical foundation who want consistent work, factory training and long‑term growth.
Pay$25 - $45 per flat rate hour
Relocation IncentiveFor qualified candidates relocating more than 50 miles to Waco, TX, we offer up to $1,500 per month for 3 months to assist with rent and utilities during your transition.
Job Type & ScheduleFull‑time
Flexible schedule
Monday through Saturday availability required
In‑person position
Ability to commute to or relocate to Waco, TX required
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Perform maintenance and repairs as outlined on repair orders
- Diagnose vehicle concerns using factory diagnostic tools and road testing
- Repair engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Complete warranty repairs according to Ford manufacturer standards
- Communicate repair findings and timelines clearly with Service Advisors
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
- Keep a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- 2+ years of automotive service technician experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Experience using electronic diagnostic equipment
- Basic computer proficiency
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Team‑oriented mindset
- Commitment to continued training and certification
- Valid driver’s license required
