What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of five (5) years Automotive Technician experience (Buick & GMC Master Certified) in a dealership setting.
  • ASE certification A1 – A8.
  • Ability to work with advanced diagnostic equipment and tools.
  • Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous managerial experience with excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate, mentor and manage a team effectively.
  • Positive attitude with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining precision and quality.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and poise.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in dealership management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in automotive technology, business, or a related field preferred.
Your Expertise in Action
  • Perform a wide range of vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance tasks on Buick & GMC vehicles.
  • Efficiently and accurately assess mechanical problems, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Conduct routine services such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and alignments.
  • Inspect and repair engines, transmissions, air conditioning systems, steering, and suspension.
  • Complete manufacturer and dealership training to stay current on Buick & GMC vehicle technology and service standards.
  • Motivate, mentor and manage a team of automotive technicians effectively, including junior and apprentice auto techs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors to ensure customers are informed about repairs and the status of their vehicles.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.
