Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Hotel Procurement serves as a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing all hotel‑related sourcing, procurement, supplier performance, and replenishment strategies across the Windstar fleet. This role ensures that all food, beverage, consumables, durables, and medical supplies are competitively sourced, cost‑effective, quality‑assured, and reliably delivered across global homeports, outports, and dry docks. As a hands‑on leader, the Senior Manager actively manages procurement categories while guiding a high‑performing team.

The role drives cost optimization, supplier partnership development, process standardization, and operational alignment with onboard and shoreside stakeholders to support a world‑class guest experience and efficient ship operations.

Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development
  • Build, develop, and mentor a procurement team centered on service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development support to all direct reports.
  • Foster strong collaboration with cross‑functional partners, including Hotel Operations, Supply Chain, Technical Operations, Port Operations, and Onboard leadership.
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
  • Lead end‑to‑end sourcing strategies for F&B and Hotel categories, ensuring cost competitiveness, reliability, and alignment with brand and operational standards.
  • Oversee competitive bidding processes, supplier selection, contract development, and performance management.
  • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives supporting new market bids, regional deployments, and special programs.
  • Strengthen global supplier networks and leverage opportunities for volume, quality, and service improvement.
Operational Procurement Execution
  • Manage and execute procurement activities for designated categories or vessels to ensure timely and accurate order placement, fulfillment, and replenishment.
  • Oversee the end‑to‑end Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) process, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with onboard teams to ensure adherence to purchasing standards, consumption targets, and inventory management processes.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Serve as the Miami‑based liaison to Denver Supply Chain offices, ensuring alignment across locations.
  • Develop communication plans and category updates for internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with Hotel Operations leadership to support menus, product standards, sustainability goals, and guest‑experience‑driven initiatives.
Supplier & Vendor Management
  • Maintain strong, ethical relationships with suppliers and partners in accordance with corporate procurement guidelines.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions or improvement initiatives as needed.
Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements across sourcing, logistics, systems, and procurement workflows.
  • Support system enhancements, data governance, and user training for enterprise procurement software and ERP tools.
Qualifications Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of F&B procurement experience in cruise, hotel, resort, or hospitality environments.
  • At least 3 years in a mid‑senior leadership role with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Proven track record in strategic sourcing, category management, and cost‑optimization initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success improving supplier performance and managing high‑volume, multi‑location procurement operations.
Education & Skills
