About the Role

We are seeking a Resident Compliance Specialist based in Miami, Florida, to serve as an embedded compliance professional supporting local construction and infrastructure operations. This role is designed for a hands‑on compliance specialist who can translate regulatory requirements into practical, on‑site execution, ensuring that compliance standards are effectively integrated into day‑to‑day project activities.

As a Resident Compliance Specialist, you will work closely with operational and project teams, while maintaining strong alignment with regional and corporate compliance leadership to support consistent and effective compliance across all levels of the projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable U.S. federal regulations, as well as internal compliance standards and frameworks.
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls across construction operations.
  • Provide day‑to‑day operational compliance support related to contractor oversight and regulatory documentation.
  • Review project activities, daily work reports, and documentation to identify compliance gaps, regulatory exposure, and operational risks.
  • Serve as the primary on‑site point of contact for compliance‑related matters across local operations.
  • Identify, assess, document, and upscale compliance risks, incidents, and issues in a timely and structured manner.
  • Prepare, maintain, and organize compliance records, reports, and supporting documentation for management review and regulatory purposes.
  • Support internal audits, external audits, inspections, and regulatory inquiries, including on‑site coordination and document preparation.
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate compliance teams to ensure alignment with enterprise‑wide compliance standards.
  • Provide compliance guidance, training, and practical support to project teams and contractors.
  • Monitor regulatory and legislative developments impacting construction and operational compliance in Florida, and assess their business impact.
Required Qualifications
  • 1‑2 years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Regulatory, Legal, or Audit roles.
  • Experience implementing and monitoring compliance controls and frameworks.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an on‑site, embedded role.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high‑volume documentation and compliance records.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting compliance functions within construction or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with compliance tracking, documentation, and reporting systems, as well as internal control and monitoring tools.
  • Ability to operate effectively in multi‑stakeholder environments, coordinating with internal teams, external contractors, and regulatory bodies.

  • Candidates must have current authorization to work in the United States.
