HVAC Service Manager
OverviewWe are seeking an experienced, bilingual HVAC Service Manager to lead our field operations, support our technicians, and ensure exceptional customer service. This role oversees daily service workflow, technician performance, scheduling, and quality control. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator in both English and Spanish, highly organized, and fully proficient in Housecall Pro for dispatching, job management, and operational reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and mentor HVAC service technicians
- Dispatch technicians to jobs, follow up with customers, order parts, process warranties and permits
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, company policies, and quality expectations
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new technicians
- Operations & Workflow
- Manage daily scheduling, dispatching, and job flow using Housecall Pro
- Monitor job progress, technician efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Review service tickets, estimates, and job notes for accuracy and completeness
- Oversee warranty claims, callbacks, and follow‑up work
- Maintain inventory oversight and coordinate with suppliers as needed
- Customer & Vendor Communication
- Communicate with customers regarding escalations, complex issues, or service concerns
- Provide bilingual support (English/Spanish) to customers and technicians
- Collaborate with vendors, distributors, and internal teams to resolve operational needs
- 3+ years of HVAC service experience; leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
- Proficiency in Housecall Pro (Strongly preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of residential and/or light commercial HVAC systems
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- EPA 608 Certification
- NATE certification
- Experience managing a service department or field team
- Familiarity with Florida HVAC codes and permitting
