Senior Associate, Marketplace Audience Strategy & Operations

Role Overview

Door Dash is looking for an analytical and entrepreneurial operator to join our US Marketplace Growth team responsible for accelerating growth across new and underserved audience segments, most notably college students and Gen Z. The Senior Associate, Marketplace Audience Strategy & Operations role supports new audience penetration for Door Dash’s largest business unit. You will dive into data to explain performance at the lowest level of detail, work with cross‑functional partners to build reporting and performance updates for senior leadership, think up new ideas and translate them into actionable tests or new reporting mechanisms, and help drive the creation of strategic plans that drive execution throughout the business.

• Collaborate – work cross‑functionally with teams across Door Dash to understand, report, and drive business performance
• Strategize – support the creation of critical strategic plans that are a roadmap for execution throughout the year
• Analyze – assess the performance of the USMP Marketplace to understand trends and drive actions based on learnings
• Optimize – work with other Strategy and Planning teams to deliver new tooling that will make reporting and planning processes more efficient
• Influence – partner with many teams to make your ideas come to life

• 3+ years of work experience in strategy, operations, planning, or related areas
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable digging deep into data and translating insights into tangible actions; ability to use AI tools such as Cursor to improve analytics tooling
• Action‑oriented with a bias toward action, comfortable with ambiguity, thriving in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment
• Creative, eager to think about new problems and avoid “this is how it’s always been done” thinking
• Excellent communicator, collaborator, and relationship builder; capable of leading with empathy while holding partners accountable for key deliverables

Base salary is $87,000—$128,000 USD, localized to the employee’s work location, and may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, the compensation includes opportunities for equity grants.
