Director, AI Sales

Job Context:
The Director of AI sales owns the cross‑sell engine across the Simpro Group customer base, building, running and scaling a team of Solution Specialists who carry quota and manage high‑volume outbound and inbound requests. The role partners with Account Managers to convert opportunities into closed revenue and sets the bar for intensity, deal execution and product fluency.

Responsibilities
  • Own revenue performance: meet annual, quarterly and monthly cross‑sell revenue targets and maintain forecast accuracy.
  • Build and scale the sales motion: establish operating rhythm, pipeline management, KPIs and continuous process optimisation.
  • Lead, hire and develop talent: recruit high‑performance specialists, create scalable onboarding, coach to high‑effectiveness, and maintain a high‑performance culture.
  • Drive cross‑functional execution: work with Account Management, Marketing, Enablement and Product teams to convert qualified opportunities and provide customer insights.
  • Develop and document best practices: publish scalable playbooks for discovery, demos, expansion and objection handling.
  • Represent the function: contribute data‑driven insights and strategic recommendations to Revenue Leadership.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record of leading sales teams that consistently exceed quota.
  • Experience building high‑velocity inbound, outbound or expansion sales motions from scratch.
  • Strong hiring, ramping and talent development skills.
  • Deep technical aptitude for running product demos and coaching.
  • Excellent pipeline management, forecasting and activity metrics expertise.
  • Ability to partner cross‑functionally with Account Management, Marketing, Product and Enablement.
  • Direct, decisive leadership style with strong communication skills.
  • In‑office leadership role focused on in‑person collaboration.
