Key Holder

What you’ll be doing:

The Keyholder will be responsible for opening and closing the car wash facility, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that all procedures are followed. The Keyholder will also support the management team in maintaining a clean and safe environment, managing staff, and handling customer interactions.

• Open or close the car wash facility according to established procedures, ensuring security and readiness for operation.
• Conduct daily facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of equipment.
• Learn to provide hands‑on mechanical support and basic troubleshooting for car wash equipment to ensure quick resolution of issues.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries, complaints, or issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure that all customers receive a high‑quality experience, including managing customer flow and addressing any service-related concerns.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to the management team on operational improvements and staff performance.
• Assist in implementation of new procedures or services to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers about downtime situations and expected resolution times.
• Continuously learn new skills from the Assistant Site Manager and Site Manager to enhance performance.
• Full Service (If applicable)
  • Oversee the full‑service aspects of the car wash, including managing staff involved in detailing, vacuuming, and other services to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Train and guide staff in delivering full‑service experiences, ensuring they follow best practices and safety protocols.
  • Monitor the quality of full‑service offerings and provide actionable feedback to improve service delivery.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in management or customer service is a plus.
• Desire to develop leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
• Basic mechanical skills and understanding of car wash equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Commitment to enforcing safety protocols.
• Proven reliability and dependability to cover shifts as needed.
• Able to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and sun.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems.
