Organizational Development Specialist

Responsible for designing and developing training programs by area, to ensure standardization knowledge of the bank’s and area’s policies and procedures. Responsible for coordinating and/or delivering all internal and external corporate trainings. Works with department managers to determine training needs and works with leader to explore options to implement training programs. Provides support to various departments with organizational webinars, sessions, trainings and other bank-wide initiatives.

Assist the areas when specific training needs to skill or reskill the staff. Responsible for the recordkeeping of the Learning Management System (LMS), including providing monthly reporting of training records. Supports the department in the development and implementation of all HC projects, from initiation to execution.

Responsibilities
  • Delivers orientation programs for new hires as needed, introducing them to the company culture, policies, and essential job-related skills.
  • Supports the department in various Bank and Human Capital initiatives, projects, and programs.
  • Helps coordinating in-house training for employees with the subject matter expert (SME) as needed.
  • Contributes to maintains the annual training program for employees to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Responsible for special projects as assigned.
  • Responsible for completing annual training program assigned.
  • Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in daily tasks ensuring assignments are completed accurately and on time.
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:

    Five (5) years of experience in Banking or related field.
  • Proficient and advance computer skills including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish. Ability to fluently speak, understand, read and write both languages.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multi-task, with strong organization, time-management and prioritizing skills.
  • Knowledge of banking processes, operations and/or policies.
  • Strong customer service skills, ensuring satisfaction of both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible to change; comfortable with ambiguity when dealing with new tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, working with integrity and ethically, upholding the organizational values.
  • Strong presentation skills to all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently ensuring timely deliverables.
