Overview

Billing Analyst is responsible for a $3B+ revenue stream with operational functions including invoicing, auditing, and extensive trend analytics and data mining for Trac Fone/client’s branded products across all sales channels.

Location:

Miami, FL 33178 – Hybrid (in-office 3 days a week: Tue, Wed, & Thu from 8–5).

Pay: $45/hr on W2. Duration: 6 months or longer. This position may require proof of vaccination; accommodations may be made for disabilities or religious reasons where vaccination is not possible.

Client: A worldwide telecommunications company offering voice, data and video services and solutions on award-winning networks and platforms.

Summary:

Position involved in managing a $3B+ revenue stream with invoicing, auditing, and data analytics; assists with systems and process enhancements, automation, pricing updates, new invoicing methodologies, reporting, and system modifications.

  • Perform extensive trend analytics and data mining using invoicing audits and various query tables to ensure financial transactions are invoiced timely and accurately recorded in Company financial statements.
  • Process invoicing for over $3B+ annual revenue across all Trac Fone branded product categories and sales channels.
  • Support Invoicing department operations, including complex billing methodologies, system and procedural modifications. Prepare internal requests to implement system modifications, coordinate UAT testing and certification prior to deployment.
  • Administer new invoicing procedures and billing reports as business needs dictate (e.g., new product launches, corporate acquisitions). Assist with UAT testing and certification of system modifications prior to production deployment.
  • Administer pricing updates, review invoicing and billing reports, and execute necessary corrections.
  • Support various other Invoicing, Airtime & POSA, and Supply Chain Management operations, including report preparation and analysis.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in financial, business, data analytics, or related technical fields.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, charts, data preparation and analysis).
  • SQL and Oracle Financials experience preferred.
  • Ability to organize and manage multitasking demands; effective internal and external communication.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business materials and to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to present information clearly to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts (discounts, interest, volume).
  • Problem-solving ability in practical situations with limited standardization.
  • Ability to interpret instructions furnished in various forms.
  • Knowledge of invoicing, accounting, financial processes, or related experience; wireless industry experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of Trac Fone systems and business operations desirable.
