Purchasing Manager

Talento has partnered with a large organization in South Florida currently searching for a Purchasing Manager to spearhead the inventory control and distribution of assigned products. The Purchasing Manager is responsible for ensuring a continuous supply of assigned products at the best cost to the organization’s restaurant system. Key responsibilities include negotiating with suppliers for each product, including volume commitments and developing the most efficient supply matrix to provide the best landed product cost at each assigned distribution center;

reviewing, evaluating, and recommending suppliers to manage the most effective supply base for the restaurant system; and developing, proposing, and implementing short‑ and long‑term strategies to ensure the continued success and growth of the organization’s purchasing operations, aligning with its commitment to industry excellence.

• Managing relationships with assigned suppliers.
• Regularly providing a continuous supply of competitively priced products.
• Negotiate and execute terms of agreement for new and existing products.
• Craft and update pricing schedules adhering to company Pricing Procedures.
• Monitor pricing compliance as well as provide full transparency related to modifications, discrepancies and/or errors.
• Assess vendor capacity/distribution capabilities to ensure quality, cost and service expectations are met.
• Lead continuous performance, business and financial reviews of current and potential suppliers.
• Collaborate with the Promotions department as well as supplier production to guarantee inventory availability for new product rollout, promotions, as well as existing products.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4+ years of direct and relevant work experience in a large environment
• Strong negotiation and contract execution skills
• Strong data and financial analysis experience using Excel
• Great communication skills, able to work with multiple stakeholders and vendors
