The French-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida (FACC Florida) is a nonprofit organization fostering business relationships and cultural exchange between France and the United States. We deliver a wide range of business development services and are growing our team to meet increasing demand.

We are looking for an energetic and organized Membership & Business Development Associate to support our Business Development & Club Affaires Manager in delivering services, prospecting new members and clients, and helping drive the Chamber's commercial activities.

About Our Services

FACC Florida delivers a broad range of business development services to its members and clients, including: preliminary market studies and business intelligence, Learning Expeditions (curated study tours for international delegations), interpretation and translation services, business prospecting and lead generation, recruitment and HR support, business center and coworking space operations, and professional training programs. Both the Manager and the Associate are expected to contribute to the delivery and promotion of these services.

Role

Summary

The Membership & Business Development Associate supports the full range of FACC Florida's business development activities. You will assist with prospecting, market research, service delivery, and member engagement—while helping coordinate Learning Expeditions, training programs, and coworking space operations. This is a junior role with real commercial responsibility and strong growth potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support membership prospecting: research target companies, build contact lists, conduct cold outreach and follow‑ups.
  • Assist with lead qualification and preparation of commercial proposals.
  • Participate in networking events, trade shows, and member meetings to develop relationships.
  • Contribute to the promotion and sale of FACC Florida's business development services.
  • Assist in conducting preliminary market studies and compiling business intelligence reports for clients.
  • Support the planning and logistics of Learning Expeditions: research, scheduling, coordination with partners.
  • Help coordinate interpretation and translation service requests.
  • Support recruitment assistance missions: job postings, CV screening, candidate coordination.
  • Assist in organizing and promoting training programs and professional workshops.
  • Research and compile participant lists for the annual Job Fair and other flagship events.
  • Promote and prospect for new coworking tenants and domiciliation clients.
  • Assist with onboarding of new coworking members and domiciliated companies.
  • Help animate the Booster Community: prepare newsletters, event invitations, and service updates.
  • Maintain accurate prospect and client records in the CRM.
  • Prepare weekly activity reports for the Manager.
  • Track and compile commercial data for monthly reporting.
Profile & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, international trade, marketing, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of professional experience (recent graduates welcome).
  • Bilingual in English–French (written and spoken) – Preferred.
  • Comfortable with cold outreach, phone prospecting, and client‑facing tasks.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and CRM tools.
  • Organized, proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
  • Interest in international business, entrepreneurship, and the French-American business community.
