Job Description
Hyundai‑Mobis Parts Miami (MPMI), LLC is a Tier 1 OEM genuine parts and accessories supplier to Hyundai and Kia distributors throughout the South American, Central American, and Caribbean markets. We are seeking a Planning & Pricing Analyst to join our Miami, FL team.
SummaryThe Pricing & Planning Analyst supports daily pricing operations, sales analysis, and reporting activities, focusing on data handling, price monitoring, and data‑driven business decisions.
Key Responsibilities• Ongoing pricing and price maintenance of parts & accessories (25%)
• Parts pricing management (40%)
• Profit margin management (20%)
• Marketing promotions support and analysis (20%)
• Reporting & analyzing data (10%)
- Implement HQ strategic price initiatives
- Maintain existing pricing database
- Develop and implement area distributor accessory business improvement plans
- Define and execute scope of market research jointly with Sales & Marketing teams
- Analyze market competition, price position, product sales, performance and trends
- Develop price proposals based on research to maximize profitability while remaining competitive
- Implement approved prices
- Track and report price change impact, including elasticity and competitive pricing effects
- Build pricing rules for segments/product groups
- Lead and participate in strategic projects such as GPASS implementation
- Present reporting to management
- Plan and organize incentive programs
- Support teams with promotions
- Communicate with customers via ticket system
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in allocation, purchasing, marketing, price analysis, and planning
- Experience in auto parts sales, service, import/export, or distribution
- Must be willing and able to travel to South America, Central America, and Caribbean markets 3‑5 times per year
- Bilingual English‑Spanish is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Full IT literacy, including databases, order processing, sales and invoicing systems
- Knowledge of pricing methods, tools, and strategies
- Strong analytical and business acumen
- Good communication and coordination skills, both internally and externally
- Ability to work in cross‑functional and international teams
- Experience with spare parts and accessory promotions is a plus
- Ability to thoroughly analyze data, develop/recommend strategies, and prepare business cases
- Ability to prepare intermediate to advanced reports
- Occasional movement within the office to access file cabinets or office machinery
- Constant use of a computer and other office productivity equipment
- Must remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time
- Position is 100% in‑office, Monday to Friday; no remote work is possible
- Must be able to travel 25‑30% of the time to South American, Central American, and Caribbean markets
