We are seeking a CEI Inspector to join our team in Miami, FL, to lead and work on various FDOT projects in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale area.

• Read contract plans, specifications, shop drawings, and regulatory agency manuals.
• Observe milling and resurfacing operations.
• Observe construction activities such as trench excavation, pipe placement, backfill operations, pile driving, structure placement, steel reinforcement, concrete pouring, signalization and lighting, etc.
• Perform density and asphalt tests; sample and verify certification of materials.
• Review shop drawings within your area of expertise, log and report materials.
• Assist in directing and teaching the daily activities of less experienced staff.
• Perform such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

• High school diploma (or equivalent) plus ten years related experience OR
• Associate degree in a related technical field plus eight years related experience is required.
• FDOT experience is strongly preferred.

Expected compensation range is between $95,000.00 - $96,512.00 annually/hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
