Director, Business Planning & Operations

• Lead, coordinate, and drive strategy, project management, and implementation of short- and long-term initiatives aligned with regional and enterprise goals
• Track progress toward goals, provide regular status updates to the SVP and Area President, CALA, and build initiatives from creation through completion
• Identify risks, elevate issues, remove obstacles, and help ensure successful execution of key initiatives
• Prepare executive-level materials and presentations, synthesize complex information into recommendations, track follow-up actions, and deliver outcomes
• Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the SVP and Area President, CALA
• Collaborate with the Americas Planning and Business Operations team to implement initiatives, share best practices, and improve connectivity
• Engage cross-functional teams to integrate property-level and Hotel Operations feedback into corporate initiatives
• Build relationships across Operations, Development, Commercial, Finance, HR, Brand, and other enterprise functions
• Develop strategies, recommendations, and data-driven business cases for CALA initiatives and leadership decision-making
• Own and project manage priority initiatives with clear accountability, timelines, and outcomes
• Develop executive-level deliverables, presentations, and briefing materials
• Use operational, commercial, financial, guest satisfaction, and development metrics to report on initiatives and performance trends
• Connect enterprise and CALA leadership teams to ensure alignment and representation of CALA priorities
• Support implementation of enterprise programs, partnerships, and activations across hotels in the region

• Eight (8) or more years of experience
• Five (5) years of project management experience, including strategic initiative implementation and partner communication
• Five (5) years of hospitality experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
• Travel up to 35%
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken
• BA/BS Bachelor's degree would be useful
• On-property hotel experience at the Director level would be useful
• Experience navigating a corporate matrix environment would be useful

Demonstrates expertise in project management and strategic initiative implementation within the hospitality sector, leveraging strong analytical skills to develop data-driven business cases and executive-level presentations. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish enhances communication and collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
