Temporary Office Associate – Parking & Transportation Department
Job Summary:
The Temporary Office Associate provides operational support to the Parking & Transportation department. This temporary, assignment‑based position supports day‑to‑day operations, including operational coordination, logistical support, compliance‑related tasks, system support, and hands‑on assistance as needed.
- Support the daily operations of the assigned unit.
- Perform responsibilities specific to the operational function to which the employee is assigned.
- Assist with coordination, logistics, compliance processes, service delivery, or technical support activities as applicable.
- Provide support in office‑based, operational, or active field environments depending on assignment.
- Maintain accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in all assigned tasks.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and operational demands in a fast‑paced environment.
- Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by administration which logically align with the position.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of departmental needs.
- Perform other essential duties in any University emergency such as hurricane or any other University emergency closing.
- College credits.
- 1 year experience in administrative duties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed for operational needs.
- Ability to work weekends.
High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Work Schedule8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
