The Professional, Vendor Management - HPE Aruba & Hybrid IT role serves as a key liaison between Ingram Micro and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), supporting the growth and operational success of the Compute, Hybrid Cloud, Storage, and Aruba business across the Latin America region. This position is responsible for driving inventory and purchasing strategies, optimizing pricing and product portfolio management, supporting vendor-funded programs, and delivering business insights that improve operational performance and profitability.

The role partners closely with HPE, internal business units, supply chain, finance, and sales teams to ensure alignment on business objectives, inventory health, and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, vendor management experience, and a solid understanding of the IT distribution market to identify opportunities, improve processes, and support business growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and recommend inventory and purchasing strategies aligned with Ingram Micro and HPE business objectives
  • Monitor inventory levels and proactively address stock shortages, excess inventory, and aging stock risks
  • Manage pricing strategies, including margin optimization, promotional programs, and pricing updates
  • Oversee SKU and vendor code (VC) management to ensure portfolio accuracy, optimization, and lifecycle management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between HPE/Aruba and Ingram Micro for operational processes, including orders, claims, reporting, and business initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HPE stakeholders and internal teams to support business performance and operational efficiency
  • Analyze business performance, inventory trends, and market opportunities to provide actionable recommendations
  • Prepare and maintain reports that support forecasting, inventory planning, and business decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve execution of vendor programs
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, profitability, and customer experience within the business unit
What You Bring to the Role
  • 3+ years of experience in vendor management, product management, operations, business analysis, supply chain, or a related technology-focused role
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required
  • Knowledge of the Latin American IT market and technology distribution environment
  • Experience managing inventory, purchasing, pricing, or vendor-related business processes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make business recommendations
  • Experience working with financial, inventory, and performance reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve moderately complex business and operational challenges
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across vendors, sales, finance, and operations teams
  • Proficiency with business systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Knowledge of HPE Compute, Hybrid Cloud, Storage, Aruba, or related infrastructure technologies is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $78,000.00 - $ per year. The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work…
