Senior Program Controls Specialist

• Manage project budgets, costs, forecasts, and financial performance
• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Monitor project performance and identify cost, schedule, and execution risks
• Support installation and implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Track projects from planning and budgeting through installation, commissioning, customer acceptance, and closeout
• Partner with Project Management, Finance, Engineering, Field Service, contractors, customers, and other stakeholders
• Ensure project compliance, reporting, and adherence to Honeywell processes and standards
• Provide financial, schedule, and performance reporting to leadership
• Support automation solutions serving building, industrial, and process sectors

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, or related field
• 6 or more years of experience in program controls, project controls, project management, or a related field
• Strong experience with project budgets, financial analysis, forecasting, and cost control
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, timelines, and schedule control
• Experience supporting projects through the full project lifecycle
• Experience identifying and mitigating cost, schedule, compliance, and execution risks
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with Finance, Project Management, Engineering, Field Service, Installation, contractors, and customers
• Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC Controls, Fire & Security, or building systems experience preferred but not required
• Experience supporting installation, implementation, commissioning, or field service projects preferred
• SAP experience preferred
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting/forecasting skills preferred
• Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar scheduling tools preferred
• PMP or project controls certification preferred
• Experience with change management, scope control, earned value, or cost-to-complete forecasting preferred
• Experience working in a matrix organization or global company preferred
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills preferred
• Candidate must be a US citizen, permanent resident, asylum/refugee, or able to get export approval

Demonstrates expertise in managing project budgets, financial performance, and compliance while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle. Proficient in project scheduling, risk management, and financial reporting to ensure successful project execution.
