What we’re looking for

We are seeking a structured, consulting-trained generalist to join our Americas Business Advisory team in Miami, delivering client-facing advisory support across maritime, ports, energy and sustainability engagements. You will work directly with clients and senior advisors to frame problems, conduct analysis and deliver executive-ready outputs, owning work streams end-to-end. The role balances regular in-person client engagement with remote flexibility and is consulting first rather than technical: you will collaborate with specialists while owning the structure, synthesis and communication.

The role
  • Work with internal specialists and external stakeholders to solve complex business challenges and identify practical, value-adding solutions.
  • Collaborate with the internal teams on research and analysis to support strategy development, operational optimisation, energy transition and due diligence engagements across the maritime and energy sectors.
  • Develop market, policy, commercial and industry insights through desktop research, document reviews, stakeholder interviews and structured analytical approaches.
  • Evaluate quantitative and qualitative data to generate evidence-based insights, recommendations and strategic implications for clients.
  • Translate complex or ambiguous client challenges into structured problem statements, hypotheses and actionable solutions.
  • Develop analytical frameworks and Excel-based models to support business cases, scenario analysis, benchmarking and operational decision-making.
  • Own discrete work streams within advisory engagements, delivering high-quality outputs with increasing autonomy and accountability.
  • Synthesise complex information into clear, decision-oriented insights and communicate findings effectively to senior client stakeholders.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, reports and other client deliverables with clear messaging, compelling storylines and professional-quality content.
  • Facilitate and support client meetings and workshops, including agenda preparation, discussion summaries, action tracking and documentation of key decisions.
  • Develop and maintain project workplans, timelines and tracking tools while operating effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Maintain high standards of consulting excellence, including documentation, quality control, version management and traceability of assumptions.
  • Support business development activities through proposal preparation and the development of reusable advisory tools, methodologies and templates.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients through professional communication, consistent follow-through and effective stakeholder management.
What you bring
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in maritime business, economics, engineering or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in management consulting, advisory services or a comparable client-facing role within maritime industry.
  • Experience owning work streams and delivering executive-ready outputs with limited supervision.
  • Previous exposre in maritime energy transition decarbonisation or related technical and policy matters within maritime industry
  • Background operating in complex, shifting settings with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create well-organised, executive-ready presentations with minimal oversight.
  • Proficient Excel skills, along with the ability to carry out structured analysis and modelling on your own.
  • Clear, structured, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Structured and disciplined, with the ability to keep multiple priorities moving forward in a busy work environment.
  • Self-motivated, easy to work with and comfortable handling responsibilities in client-facing environments.
  • Willingness to be Miami-based and travel regularily to local and regional client sites, typically weekly depending on engagement needs.
