The Vessel Ops & Strategy Senior Analyst supports the design, analysis, and execution of strategic initiatives and partnerships that advance NCLH's competitive position, growth, and operational performance. Reporting to the Manager of Vessel Ops & Strategy, the role focuses on breaking down complex business problems, conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses, synthesizing insights into executive recommendations, and partnering across functions to implement high-impact strategic initiatives.
The Senior Analyst contributes to long-term value creation by identifying opportunities, evaluating tradeoffs, and supporting performance optimization across strategic priorities.
- Enable strategic projects and partnerships in alignment with the enterprise strategy and goals
- Analyze and support the integration of new ventures and strategic initiatives by developing execution strategies, evaluating key business decisions and tradeoffs, facilitating cross-functional alignment, identifying risks and dependencies, and recommending solutions to drive successful implementation.
- Develop executive-level analyses, presentations, and recommendations for the board and executive leadership team, translating complex business issues into clear, data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with working-level team(s) at strategic partner(s) and third-party execution support (e.g., management consultants, design consultants, and contractors)
- Contribute to a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and accountability across the project team(s)
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned
- Distinctive analytical and strategic problem-solving skills, including scenario planning, financial modeling, quantitative analysis, KPI development, and synthesis of complex data into actionable business insights
- Passion for solving complex business challenges and supporting strategic initiatives through structured analysis, thoughtful recommendations, and effective execution
- Executive presence and the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, communicating analytical findings and strategic recommendations with clarity and credibility
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills, with the ability to frame ambiguous problems, align cross-functional teams, and drive informed decision-making
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining analytical rigor, attention to detail, and a high standard of quality
Bachelor's Degree
Field(s) Of StudyBachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related quantitative or analytic field
ExperiencePreference for 2-4 years of experience in strategy, financial strategy / capital planning, management consulting, and / or PE operations. Understanding of vessel operations, marine / technical systems, and cruise industry dynamics preferred
Certification/Licenses- Bachelor’s degree
- Masters degree preferred
