We are seeking an experienced Senior/Chief Estimator to serve as our client’s sole estimator
, owning preconstruction from concept budgets/GMPs through final bid submission
—with a clear path to building and leading an estimating department as the company grows.

WE PAY FOR EXPERIENCE. Compensation starts at $90,000+/year (negotiable based on experience/interview), with full benefits

, multi-family construction
, and luxury single-family residential new construction.

What you’ll do: Run estimating end-to-end—takeoffs, scopes, subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and final submissions—while helping standardize processes and scale the department.

To qualify, you should have:

• High School Diploma required;
  Bachelor’s in Construction Management/Civil Engineering (or related) preferred
• 5+ years construction estimating experience (
  GC background preferred
  )
• Multi-million-dollar estimating experience in commercial and/or multi-family and/or luxury single-family residential
• Ability to produce estimates from conceptual budgeting and GMPs through final bid submission
• Strong ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents (including structural/civil/MEP scope risk)
• Strong understanding of trade scopes/divisions (all major CSI divisions); ability to build scope sheets and perform bid leveling across trades
• Subcontractor/vendor outreach skills; comfortable soliciting and leveling pricing (
  apples-to-apples
  )
• Strong Excel/Word/Outlook skills required (Excel-based estimating, bid leveling, and clean documentation); comfort adopting or helping implement estimating software as the department scales
• Able to manage multiple bids, deadlines, and priorities with minimal supervision
• Leadership mindset: comfortable building systems/processes and eventually leading a team
